Our cupolas are designed to accommodate a roof pitch to 10/12 or 10" rise per foot. Most roofs are not as steep as 10/12. If, however, your pitch is steeper than a 10/12 pitch, you will have to include an extended base for your cupola. You or your carpenter can add this extension at the site prior to cutting out the pitch. For an added convenience, we can add this extension to the existing base as one piece of wood prior to shipping your order to you. Please see the chart below for the added cost. Please look for your size of cupola:
