Most orders are shipped via United Parcel Service (UPS). Items that are not shipped by UPS due to size and weight will be shipped via the least expensive motor freight.  
 
   
 

If an item is out of stock, it will be shipped as soon as it becomes available. If item is out of stock more than reasonable time, you will be notified by email, mail or phone.

  
 
   
 

Lead-time varies based on items being shipped: (all times under normal conditions)

  • Weathervanes 1 - 2 weeks
  • Cupolas 3 - 4 weeks
  • Address Plaques 1 - 2 weeks depending on sign; 3 - 4 weeks Hand Carved Series
  • Lighthouses 2 - 3 weeks

This charge applies to all items which are purchased on our website. This charge covers the freight cost, special package materials and insurance.

Weathervanes:

  • Full Size & Cottage Size Weathervane - Add 10% to Weathervane price
  • Signature Series Weathervane - Please email or call our office for motor freight charge. This cost approximately between 15% - 20% of the regular price.

Cupolas:

  • Country Cupolas - up to 30"size - Add 10% to cover UPS cost.
  • Country Cupolas - 36" or larger - Must be shipped by motor freight. Please call or email our office for shipping charges.
  • Colonial Cupolas - up to 24" size - Add 10% to cover UPS cost. Franklin 24" size and all 6-sided cupolas must be shipped by motor freight.
  • Colonial Cupolas - 28" or larger - Must be shipped by motor freight. Please call or email our office for shipping charges.
  • Vinyl Cupolas - up to 24" size - Add 10% to cover UPS cost. Arch 24" size and all 6-sided cupolas must be shipped by motor freight.
  • Vinyl Cupolas - 27" or larger - Must be shipped by motor freight. Please call or email our office for shipping charges.

Mailbox & Post Systems

  • All mailbox and / or post can be shipped by UPS - Add 10% to cover UPS cost.

Address Plaques

  • UPS will ship all address signs. Please add 10% to cover UPS cost.

Lighthouses:

  • Based on the size of the lighthouse - 2' to 4' tall can be shipped by UPS. All other sizes from 5' to 12' must be shipped by motor freight. Please call or email our office for freight cost.
  
 
   
 

All merchandise is carefully packed and inspected before being shipped. Please check the entire box for smaller packages if additional parts come with purchase such as weathervanes where there are 5 additional parts to the weathervane figure that are packed in smaller boxes within the box. If you feel that you are missing any parts, please call our customer service at (800) 447-6424.

Please report all claims for shortages or damages within 72 hours of receipt of package. Call your local UPS or freight carrier for inspection of shipping damage. In all cases, please keep all packing material for the carrier to review when inspecting for damages.

  
 
   
 

All prices listed are in US dollars ($).

Colonial Collections of New England currently accepts payment via Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. Personal check can be mailed along with your order to our office address. Your order will not be processed until your check clears, approximately 10 business days after we receive your order with your check. All credit card authorizations are processed over a secure server and all charges must be made by the cardholder. The cardholder must be over the age of 18.

  
 
   
  Most of our items are handmade - custom made. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If there is a defect, damaged or poor craftsmanship, you can return your item ordered for an exchange or store credit. All returns should be made within 30 days of receipt of merchandise.   For all Connecticut residents, please add 6% sales tax. Sales Tax is charged on total merchandise plus shipping and handling charges.
